Marion gets inspired by things from her everyday life – she loves flowers of all kinds, and they have a way of influencing her drawings, sketchbooks, as well as her tea objects, for which she is known for far beyond Cologne.
In 2020 Marion’s love for octopus blossomed into a deep interest in all creatures of the sea and their ways of life. This marine life passion has resulted in a new series of works, which were presented in February and March of 2021 – as part of a digital exhibition that sought to present art despite the COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time.
